West Ridge

Water comes into play on six of the eighteen holes and sand traps are sprinkled throughout.   At 6,673 yards from the tips, West Ridge isn't especially long, the challenge coming from the links style layout, designed by local architect Bill Neff. 

Opened in 1991, West Ridge hosted the Gus Paulos Classic, a Mini Tour event, for eight years. Today, it is among the finest municipal courses in the Salt Lake area and the entire state of Utah. It's a relative bargain to play, and you get so much for your money -- 18 spectacular holes with pristine views of the Wasatch Front along with lake and mountain scenery that is truly glorious and will keep you coming back for more. History of West Ridge Golf Course

Opened in 1991 by West Valley City, the West Ridge Golf Course, dubbed "the Ridge" for short, is a superb municipal course that offers championship golf while providing magnificent views of the Salt Lake Valley and the majestic Wasatch Mountains. The course was designed by Bill Neff, a local architect, who designed 30 courses in Utah.  Since it's opening in 1991, over 8,000 trees have been planted adding to the beauty of this scenic gem.  Today, it is the one of two great municipal courses in West Valley City and one of the finest in all of Utah.
