RIO VERDE GOLF COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

The Rio Verde Golf Community Association (RVCA) is the organization composed of and representing all residential property owners in Rio Verde, Arizona, an active adult golf community. It was created in 1973 to form a self-governing body for this unique community and operates according to its Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and a Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs).

The needs and affairs of the active adult golf community are managed by a 15-member Board of Directors under the leadership of its President. The Rio Verde Golf Community Association Board holds monthly meetings from September through June. All members of the Rio Verde Golf Community Association Board (Directors) are Community residents, volunteering their time to manage the needs of the Community. Directors lead the Committees which include other active adult golf community residents. The Committees research specific issues, recommend appropriate action, and participate in implementing Board decisions. In addition to standing Committees, ad hoc committees are formed on a temporary basis as needed.

The Annual Meeting of the Rio Verde Golf Community Association is held in March of each year. Town Meetings to present critical issues and important proposals are held as needed throughout the year. They serve as a forum for discussion for Rio Verde Golf Community residents and as a source of guidance for the Board.

The Association employs a full-time Community Manager and Office Staff to handle the day-to-day operation of this active adult golf community and address the needs and concerns of its residents.
